This site is dedicated to all those Canadians looking to move to the United States. It's something a lot of Canucks have considered, especially those in high tech. There's the lure of higher salaries, lower taxes, and better weather but on the other hand having to deal with work visas, immigration, and moving to another country presents an intimidating challenge.

In 1998 I moved to the United States and I wished this kind of information was available as there are a lot of issues and things that require preparation beforehand. Originally I just wanted to promote moving to California as I fell in love with the place, so I documented all my experiences and acquired advice. Now I'm taking it to the next level by trying to provide an unbiased informative guide to help those who are deciding on moving to the United States in general.

At the same time I also rely on the experiences of others, so please drop me a line if you can provide extra information, point out inaccuracies, or helpful insight for the city you moved to.

Step:3
