Imad had turned the extremely old age of 27. It was a surprise party that his wife Huma put on. She actually took a day off work, and stayed up till 6am working on preparations. Majid and I had the responsbility of getting him out of the house and keeping him busy while everyone gathered at his house for the surprise.

As luck may have it, the one time that he wanted to stay home, was the time he needed to be out. So we told him to get this bed that he wanted from Wahab's, and we drove to the furthest Home Depot available just to buy string. We stalled him for so long, that we were actually running late and had to rush back to Huma's.

When he opened the door, about 40 or so people completely surprised him. Cheers goes to Huma who thought of the plan at the last minute and miraculously pulled it off with an incredible amount of super human effort.

There were some technical difficulties trying to light the candles.
