Hanging w/Da Boyz
March 24th, 2001

Since I've been working so much, and this week is the final approach to completing our mega project, it was obvious I wouldn't be around much during the weekday. So the wife decided to take advantage of her spring break free time and jet home to Singapore to visit the family.

In the meanwhile I've been trying to hook up friends with jobs, and got the company I work to take a look at Kashif for a training position. So he flew down for the weekend, and Nabeel's wife is out in Dubhai working so we had a boys night out.

We rented Blair Witch 2 hoping to thoroughly scare ourselves. The movie was kinda boring and lacked serious fright factor. More like a movie of people just arguing with each other, and Kashif fell asleep. But it gave Nabeel and I enough of a hint to spark our imaginations. So I couldn't fall asleep too fast, so I planned on just watching TV to the point I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. Nabeel didn't even try, even with all the lights on. So we ended up playing chess till 6am.

Nabeel seen here was in charge of tea duty.

I supplied the vital nutrients crucial to any single (even if temporary) guy's survival. I had to wake Kashif up to catch the plane at 8am, so I only got like 2hrs of sleep that night. I couldn't go to sleep after that because I had gotten just enough sleep to not feel tired enough to konk out. But it's all in good fun!
