Paris - Fall Lineup

Hilfiger, the reknowned German clothes designer shows his artistic capabilities with this ensemble of casual yet somewhat formal day wear. Unfortunately the problem with Tommy Hil stuff is that it's become a victim of its own success, I know people that wear Tommy jeans, Tommy shirts, Tommy underwear, Tommy socks, Tommy cologne, Tommy watches, and Tommy bags... Most of it all at the same time, it's overused.

Tariq is wearing a double stiched blue denim full sleeve shirt, with a brown cross belt with a matching pair of light green narrow fit jeans. It says to the world, "hey, I can dress up, and still be casual."

Also in the Fall 95 lineup are grey heavy cotton shirts for the more stylish, I don't have to be loud to be noticed, clothing.

Fixing these pages up, I feel wicked old now. 1995 was ages ago, I was turning 23. Actually none of these clothes are from Tommy Hil, the denim shirt is from GAP. Not sure where the pants and grey shirt is from, they both didn't last too long after these pictures. After washing them they shrunk big time. But the two Tommy shirts I have are indestructable. They're two or three years old now, the colours are still solid, and fabric hasn't degraded at all. That's getting what you paid for. Though the new stuff these days doesn't hold up to that kind of integrity.
