Hi, so we just recently lost Severity, Guug, and Outex, stuntin and Nokio. However we just picked up AG, Faint, poly and Zorro. These sexy gentlemen will make a valuable addition to the team. With the exception of Zorro, being a female and all. This should put an end to recruiting, however I am unsure at this point. Yeah it's stug again with some more news you guys may or may not like. We beat njk this week in STA on darkness 32-18, GG njk!! That puts us out of our losing streak, so I'm pretty giddy about the whole thing. Since Sprax decided to bail on us, I (stug) thought I would take over at least until someone else decides they love to post meaningless junk on the site. I would just like to say that I've lost respect to the 7 members who have left us in the time frame of 3 days. You know who you are. Wow, took about a month to win a game, having a bare roster, so we went and picked up Na$ and TrojanMan from the dead RA| and ][ gg's to them of course. With a full roster we won rd1 40-0 D holding very strong in an 8v8 match up, for rd2 we won 30-0, D again holding very very strongly, giving NIL8 its first win in a while a shutout. A side note, rd2 was gayed by Mr Big(faggot)Richard... killed some O for 2 caps, gj i will remember. Another side note Fate decided to leave because he likes men, and is 5 yrs old, gg.. fate. Well since this site has not been updated in a long long time, i took it upon my self to do it. We are 1-4 in last five beating only Ov, though some matches were forfeited or we just played with less than 9, either way not too good. On another note we lost several members and gained some as well including my self FlyingDeath, Riven, fate, regulator, bigrichard, kev and trojanman. RND1:Started slowly, first 10-15 mins of round not much happened. ][ pulled out a cap first, then our O tried and failed miserably. And of course in proper NIL8 tradition we had 1 guy continously dropping so we played that round with 8 people. RND2: We thought it would be a different story on our server. It wasn't. Spam here, spam there, spam everywhere. D was holding then NIL8 Godfather Mod dropped, and ][ started cranking out the caps. O capped more, but wasn't enough to win the game. Final Score: 110-40. Been awhile since an update, ok where to begin. Well with the coming of CPL several of our members decided to pack up their bags and depart from [NIL8] also. Zorro and Chase will be missed and I hope you have good luck in your future endeavors. Some other bastards left but we really don't care about them(except Rhino who still lingers on IRC <3 ). League action has been a tough. With the addition of TFL, and the lose of several members, roster issues have been frequent. But their is always hope with the dedication of the newer faces like Oz, and Euphoria. Several recruits are gunning for an official spot in [NIL8], Jeppy, Athos, and Serenade. We had roster problems recently with a bunch of assorted things, we have done some recruiting and picked up bleeP, splanky, Resolute, AG, and EndurancE. With these additions we should be back on our feet. After beating RES we beat /tmp/ for a title shot but then lost the title match to TTK and then lost again to DIVISION on a bad map for us, security_r. Monday we beat DoH on sanctic_r which seems to be a good map for us. This monday we play AGT on sanctic_r it should be a great match because we like this map. That is all. [NIL8]chase

What a nail biter against Karnij last night. First round ends with NIL8 up 6-5. KAR fights thier way back into it rd2 and takes the rd 6-5. So off to overtime we go. OT didnt last very long as a well co-ordinated NIL8 attack results in a fast cap to end the match 12-11. GG KAR
We will file this one under the word "chaos." Just one day after NIL8 had to scrub a practice because half the defense didn't show up, it was looking doubtful the team would have enough defenive players for its match against DIVISION on the map Torch. But true to form, everyone shows 3 minutes before matchtime. NIL8 didn't even settle on a Defensive lineup until just 2 minutes left in pre-match. So does it really surprise anyone that 30 minutes later DIVISION ends the round with 8 caps? Thankfully, the NIL8 offense stepped up and scored 8 caps of their own. So despite the confusion on the NIL8 defense, the team was still "in the game" going into Round 2. After a short IRC debate about why it's not a good idea to use a sniper on defense, the NIL8 defensive squad was determined to clamp down in Round 2. Unfortunately, a guy named Warlord on the DIV offense had plans of his. Almost immediately, Warlord (with the help of his DIV teammates) scores two caps within minutes after the round started. And he kept on capping again, again and again. So like Round 1, it was up to the NIL8 offense to win or lose the match. Ryan, Sejje, Enkidu and Bonzi responded with a flurry of caps that finally gets NIL8 a 9-8 lead with just minutes left in the round. By this point Eternal stopped playing D and was doing what he could to help the team score. Meanwhile, NIL8's 4-man defense did what they could to hold off the DIV capping machine for a few precious minutes. The rounds ends with the 10-8 score and NIL8 winning the overall match 18 to 16. Great game DIVISION ... It was a close one.

Our offense kept a steady flow of caps coming while 13 got thiers in spurts after figuring out a tough NIL8 defense to crack. NIL8 takes the rd 13-7. Still looks pretty good bro, and now its automated so we peons can use it =) A few of the pages still need updated, and that old forum of ours is going to be replaced (pop up city ), but other then that, I think its time to let her fly. You may want to put a hit counter on here T, because our other site got over 20,000 hits in 2 months, and it would be interesting to see how many we get now.
