Forward:
Annihilate is NOT recruiting. We contact players that we see out
performing above the crowd as we notice them. GENNADIUS and PROWLER
are primarily in charge of finding new recruits, so ICQ theme to find out
what servers they're on, and if they feel you're up to par, you're in. You're best
bet would be to use Game Spy, find out what server he's on, and kick some
ass basically.
What We Look For:
Most Clans look for players who are the best, and that's all that matters. That is
only one small component to what makes up this Clan. In fact, that is only the first
basic requirement, to be a top player in your class. However, we take it to another
level. We are a team, we're looking for people who DESIRE playing on a team, working
as a team, and have the mentality to work in unison and harmony together to ensure
the success of the team. In the final score, it's the unity and cohesion of working together as a single entity that thinks as one that earns our place in the ranks.
Therefor this clan is not compatible with show boaters that want to play independently.
You play for the honour of having NIL8 beside your name. Our goal is not only to win matches, but to earn the prestige that comes with having an elevated image. Lots of people know how to play extremely well indepdently, and that's fine when playing by yourself. In a clan however, it's a whole new level. If you want to rise, you have to do what it takes to make sure your clan rises. Our belief of accomplishing this is done through expert players, who are professional, have the mentality of a team player, are dedicated, resourceful, and mature.
The Golden Rule: PARTICIPATION
If Prowler or TORQUE say you're in. You're good to go. We hold meetings on a frequent basis, and it
is VERY important that you attend them (via ICQ). Missing two meetings in a row
constitutes to a probationary warning, and if you don't show up after that, a judgement
call is made. It is absolutely required that you attend pre-tournament practices if
you are in the tournament.
Code Of Conduct...
1:
As stated above, show up for meetings. Show up for tournaments. Period.
2:
Act in a professional manner. Do not act like a child. Do not act like a loud mouth
teenager. We very seriously exist to win, to the point that this is a second career,
and almost a religion. Be mature. If you need help on doing this, pretend you're
Robert DeNiro in a movie like HEAT, he does what it takes to get the job done.
Nothing more. Nothing less.
3:
Consider ICQ official meetings like air traffic control talk. Only say something if you are
asked, or if you have something that is completely valid to the topic. No stray comments.
Do not spam or clutter the conversations with nonsense. Stay focused on the meeting
moderator, who will delegate the flow of conversation (usually Prowler).
4:
You must have [NIL8] with no spaces right after your name during any game play. Failing to do so after being warned, results in a loss of membership with the Clan.
5:
If you cannot make it for a tournament that you have been slotted for, notify all clan
members ASAP, and confirm that your alternate can take your place.
6:
DO NOT CHEAT. Be caught once, and you're out.
7:
Do not be disrespectful to players.
Be cool, level headed, killers. That in itself carries the most amount of pride,
when they hit tab the score will speak more than any words you can type.
8:
Do not be disrespectful to other
members. We must maintain harmony. We must exist as one. Keep in mind the end goal,
that you want us, all, you, and everyone in the Clan to win. If you are having issues
bring them up in a constructive manner.
9:
If other players or clans are being
disrespectful, you may taunt back, but to not lose your cool. Do not be brought
down to their level. Only children act in such a way.
10:
Stick to the plan during a tournament.
COMMUNICATE! Follow the strategy as practiced and AGREED upon (if you have a problem
with the plan bring it up before the game, not during) in the meetings.
11:
Use the Clan's communication key binds,
so that we are all in sync with the way we communicate.
12:
Be sure to read the rules of a league
server that you will be playing on before the tournament.
