We had been living in Tracy for almost a year and a half now and have seen the weeds in our unfinished backyard come and go with the seasons. Coming up on two years now we decided that it was time to landscape the backyard. One, so that we could use it, and second to raise the property value in case we wanted to move in the future.

My wife and I knew nothing of landscaping, and although we looked at examples in books, couldn't really vision what our backyard should look like. All we knew is that we'd like a patio for having barbeques, some plants along the side, grass in the middle, and trees along the back to provide some privacy. We had a number of landscapers come by, and we were hoping they'd be able to give us some ideas. Offering none, they gave us quotes on what our unimaginative idea was (which generally was beyond our initial budget).

Almost at the point of giving up, we tried one last landscaper: Sosa Landscape. Hab consulted with us and listened to what our goal was, more then just what we wanted to do literally. Unlike the others he came by with photographs showing different ideas, but the best part was Hab communicating some of his ideas. We're not experts in landscaping, and I really valued hearing what he visions the possibilities are based on our goals. His ideas were awesome, and things I would not have thought of. He takes all these things, which are basic on their own, but designs it in such a way to deliver incredible impact.

Our backyard is now something that I need to show off. I never thought I could be proud of plants, trees, rocks, and grass. But Sosa Landscape makes landscaping an art form. We bought a brand new home with nothing in the backyard but dirt. When it came time to landscape, we called various different local landscaping companies to get estimates. After many phone calls, some of the landscapers never returned our call, or if they did: after hearing what it was we wanted to do, told us that they didn't or couldn't do some of the things we asked about.

We recently wanted to give our back yard, which was very tired, depressing and lack-luster a much needed face lift. We did not want to do the work ourselves. We had two landscape contractors come and bid on the job. They didn't listen to what we wanted and their bids were so high the project could not be done.
